Based in Westbrook, ME, this role requires strong leadership and a collaborative culture, with travel required within the region.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; MBA or related graduate degree preferred.
• Twenty years of commercial lines insurance experience with P&L responsibility.
• Established agency relationships in New England and Upstate New York.
• Strong data analysis, strategic planning and market development skills.
• Travel about 25% within New England and New York; valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to strategic direction of the operating unit and oversee field/underwriting and marketing operations.
• Achieve operating unit goals for production, profitability, and service.
• Drive sales, distribution, marketing, and agency engagement strategies.
• Optimize field underwriting operations and manage talent development.
