The role involves analyzing, reviewing, and underwriting new and renewal accounts, with typical support of >$5M GWP, while maintaining broker relationships and delivering on performance targets.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in Management Liability underwriting, strong broker connections, and an ability to manage a diverse book of insureds

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• 5+ years in underwriting Management Liability.
• Experience targeting insureds with revenues under $3 billion.
• Strong broker relationships.
• Analytical with attention to detail.
• Excellent time management and organizational skills.
• Willingness to travel to meet brokers and clients.

Responsibilities

• Retain existing business while prospecting new opportunities in Private Company Management Liability.
• Manage a book of business with >$5M GWP and cross-market product lines.
• Meet quote turnaround, policy issuance, renewal management, and documentation targets.
• Underwrite risks, determine limits, retentions, pricing, and endorsements per guidelines.
• Develop product and underwriting knowledge and stay updated on market trends.
• Collaborate with retail brokers to secure opportunities and propose solutions.
