Job summary

Integrated Specialty Coverages (ISC) is seeking a Senior Underwriter for its Premier Construction program. The role focuses on reviewing complex applications, calculating risk, and mentoring team members while aligning with guidelines and regulatory standards.

Key duties include using multiple data sources, providing market insights, and collaborating with producers to meet production goals in a remote US setting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• 5–7 years of underwriting or related insurance experience required.
• CPCU, CIC, CRIS, Property & Casualty Brokers License, etc. preferred.
• Strong customer service experience.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and ability to quickly learn industry-specific software.
• Ability to work collaboratively with team members and other departments.
• Flexibility, adaptability and willingness to pivot with priorities.

Responsibilities

• Review complex, high-risk applications against guidelines to determine eligibility.
• Leverage databases and specialized software to verify data and price policies.
• Offer recommendations to reduce exposure and enhance risk management.
• Ensure underwriting activities comply with regulations and company policies.
• Build relationships with producers to achieve production goals.
• Collaborate with the underwriting team to finalize applications efficiently.
