Qualifications

• 5–7 years of underwriting or related insurance experience.
• Licensing such as CPCU, CIC, CRIS or equivalent preferred.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and ability to learn industry-specific software quickly.
• Ability to collaborate with teammates and other departments.
• Strong desire to learn and adapt to changing priorities.

Responsibilities

• Review complex, high-risk insurance applications and assess risk against guidelines.
• Support development of underwriting team by sharing knowledge and mentoring.
• Provide market insights and collaborate with producers to meet goals.
• Ensure underwriting activities comply with regulations.
• Collaborate with the underwriting team to finalize applications efficiently.
