Qualifications

• 7+ years of underwriting experience.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Property & Casualty knowledge or appropriate license may be required.
• Broad knowledge of insurance market and appetite.
• Strong math, negotiation and analytical abilities.

Responsibilities

• Underwrite and analyze new and renewal accounts for complex assignments.
• Serve as SME to review insurance policies.
• Assess risk to price, coverages, terms, and conditions; bind coverage and issue policies.
• Engage in broker negotiations to ensure profitable new business flow.
• Collaborate with internal departments to execute program strategy.
• Provide training and coaching to underwriting staff as needed.
• Travel up to 20% for client meetings and development.
