Job summary

TransRe's FAIRCO healthcare professional liability team in Arlington, VA seeks an entrepreneurial Underwriter to write in the mental healthcare vertical across Admitted and E&S platforms. Join a growing team and influence underwriting strategy while developing broker relationships.

You will manage a diverse portfolio, underwrite new and renewal opportunities, market FAIRCO products at meetings and events, and collaborate with Claims, Risk Management, Actuarial, and Leadership to drive profitable

Qualifications

Minimum of 5 years of commercial liability underwriting in the E&S market.
Experience building broker/wholesale relationships in healthcare professional liability.
Excellent analytical, negotiation, and communication skills.
Willingness to travel up to 20% for industry events.

Responsibilities

Underwriting new and renewal opportunities across Admitted and E&S platforms.
Build and maintain broker relationships to increase submission flow.
Market FAIRCO healthcare products through broker/client meetings and events.
Collaborate with Claims, Risk Management, Actuarial, and Senior Leadership on solutions.
Manage portfolio performance in mental health segments and identify growth opportunities.
Monitor MPL market trends to maintain competitive positioning.
