TransRe in New York City seeks an experienced Complex Claims Examiner to join the FAIRCO team. You will adjust Professional & Management Liability claims, especially Lawyers Professional Indemnity, with exposure to other FAIRCO programs. Qualifications

• Extensive experience litigating or handling complex Professional & Management Liability issues, focusing on Legal Malpractice coverage.
• Experience leading mediations for Professional & Management Liability claims.
• Experience writing coverage analyses.
• Juris Doctorate preferred.
• Willingness to travel up to 25% for mediations, conferences, and meetings.
• Possession of, or willingness to obtain, NY and other state adjuster licenses.

Responsibilities

• Manage and adjust Professional & Management Liability claims.
• Include lawyers liability, D&O, accountants liability, cyber, and EPL.
• Collaborate with underwriters, brokers, program partners, and insureds for seamless resolution.
• Analyze policy coverage and draft coverage analyses.
• Attend mediations and conferences as required.
• Develop and implement claims strategies to mitigate risk and costs.
