Job summary

PURE Insurance in Roswell, GA seeks an Underwriting Specialist to profitably grow a book by partnering with brokers and collaborating with colleagues across the organization. You will plan and budget for the book, develop broker relationships, and execute underwriting decisions.

The role handles large, complex accounts, mentors junior underwriters, and contributes to profit improvement while maintaining underwriting guidelines and service standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree required.
• Minimum 7 years of high net worth underwriting experience.
• Current P&C and E&S broker licenses preferred; must obtain within 45 and 60 days if not possessed.

Responsibilities

• Underwrite large, complex accounts in line with PURE’s strategy and guidelines.
• Develop, maintain and manage broker partnerships and key relationships with principals and PL managers.
• Mentor junior underwriters and provide guidance on referrals and execution.
