Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with a minimum of 5 years of related experience.
• Extensive experience with commercial lines product coverage forms and filings.
• Leadership in underwriting with cross-functional collaboration.
• Strong data analysis to guide underwriting decisions.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and assess excess casualty construction risks.
• Mentor and support junior underwriters.
• Collaborate with brokers, agents and internal stakeholders.
• Review and manage product set for marketing, compliance and risk.
• Research potential new products to enhance strategic positioning.
• Collaborate with Claims, Finance, Technology and Actuary to improve positioning.
• Provide training and support as a technical underwriting resource.
