Job summary

Foundation Risk Partners (FRP) is seeking a Senior Underwriter for the Corporate Synergies team in the Philadelphia metro area. The role partners with the VP of Underwriting and Account Management to support complex health and welfare programs, drive renewal strategy, and ensure accurate underwriting deliverables for fully insured and self‑insured clients.

Responsibilities include analyzing renewals, reviewing proposals, developing budgets and financial models, and contributing to renewal

Qualifications

• Strong interpersonal skills with clients, carriers, and internal teams.
• In‑depth knowledge of carrier processes, plan designs, funding, and stop‑loss.
• Proven analytical, organizational, and detail‑oriented abilities.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Analyze carrier renewals and manage ongoing carrier interactions.
• Review proposals and underwriting materials for accuracy and completeness.
• Oversee claims reporting for self‑insured clients and analyze claims data.
• Develop self‑insured budgets and premium equivalent calculations.
• Prepare pre‑renewal projections and financial models.
