Qualifications

• 3+ years of wholesale underwriting or production experience, with a strong record in E&S.
• Active home state general and surplus lines licenses.
• Producer mindset with ability to sell, build relationships, and close deals.
• Ability to generate quotes and issue policies quickly without sacrificing quality.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; adapt tone to agents, carriers, and teammates.
• Highly organized and accountable; manages multiple priorities.
• Problem-solver; proactive in identifying and solving issues.
• Team-oriented; collaboratively supports colleagues and shared goals.
• Valid driver's license; willingness to travel occasionally.

Responsibilities

• Drive growth by bringing in new business and expanding carrier footprint through strategic appointments and producer relationships.
• Own the quote-bind-issue lifecycle from start to finish with fast, accurate turnaround on every deal.
• Operate like an owner by evolving wholesale capabilities, especially binding authority lines, for efficiency and scale.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Product, and Operations to design tools that streamline underwriting in surplus lines.
