Job summary

QuoteWell is seeking a commercial insurance underwriter to join our remote US team and help shape the next phase of growth. You will drive growth by extending our carrier footprint and managing the quote-bind-issue lifecycle with speed and accuracy.

You will collaborate with Engineering, Product, and Operations to design smarter underwriting tools, support an owner mindset, and maintain strong relationships with agents and carriers.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of wholesale underwriting or production experience with a track record in E&S.
• Active home state general and surplus lines licenses.
• Producer mindset with ability to build relationships and close deals.
• Fast-paced execution in high-volume environment; quote and service policies quickly.
• Clear communicator, writing and speaking crisply for agents, carriers and teammates.
• Organized and accountable; manage multiple priorities without dropping the ball.
• Problem-solver who builds or fixes when something breaks or missing.
• Team-first attitude; collaborates and celebrates shared wins.
• Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel occasionally.

Responsibilities

• Drive growth by bringing in new business and expanding our carrier footprint.
• Own the end-to-end quote-bind-issue lifecycle with fast, accurate turnaround.
• Develop and evolve wholesale capabilities, especially binding authority lines.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Product, and Operations to streamline underwriting tools.
