Job summary

Everest Insurance Company in Atlanta, GA, seeks a Senior Underwriter, Commercial Auto for the Wholesale Casualty team. You will build and manage a profitable E&S Commercial Auto portfolio across the Southeast, while developing broker relationships and ensuring profitability.

This remote-friendly role requires 5–7+ years of underwriting experience and involves collaboration with Claims, Actuarial, Operations, Product and Distribution teams to support regional growth and carrier partnerships.

Qualifications

5–7+ years in commercial insurance underwriting.
Expertise in Commercial Auto underwriting in E&S or wholesale markets.
Broker relationships management and new business production.

Responsibilities

Underwrite new and renewal E&S Commercial Auto business across Southeast.
Develop and maintain a profitable book within the Southeast Region.
Build strong relationships with wholesale broker partners.
Evaluate risk exposures, pricing adequacy, terms, and coverage structures.
Execute underwriting strategies aligned with regional growth objectives.
Identify new business opportunities and drive brand awareness for Everest Evolution.
Collaborate with Claims, Actuarial, Operations, Product, and Distribution teams.
Monitor market conditions and broker activity in the territory.
Ensure adherence to underwriting guidelines and authority levels.
