Job summary

One80 Intermediaries is seeking a Senior Commercial Auto Underwriter to join our growing team. This role focuses on risk selection, pricing on endorsements, renewals, and new business within established guidelines.

Reporting to the VP of Transportation, you will underwrite multiple lines including general liability, auto liability, physical damage, and cargo, while coordinating with brokers and agents to issue policies.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years’ experience as a Transportation Underwriter in a multi-state and multi-line commercial insurance environment.
• Advanced knowledge of underwriting and pricing principles.
• Strong understanding of ISO class codes and CLM rules.

Responsibilities

• Assess and price endorsements, renewals, and new business within guidelines.
• Communicate standards and requirements to brokers and agents.
• Order/review inspection reports to assess risk quality and exposure.
• Manage relationships with assigned brokers and agents.
