Job summary

Everest Insurance Company is seeking a Senior Underwriter, Commercial Auto on the Wholesale Casualty team to build and manage a profitable E&S Commercial Auto portfolio across the Central Region. Location is flexible with a hybrid work model, and remote consideration may be available for exceptional candidates.

Qualifications

• 5-7+ years of commercial insurance underwriting experience.
• Strong expertise in Commercial Auto underwriting, preferably in E&S or wholesale.
• Proven ability to manage broker relationships and grow production.

Responsibilities

• Underwrite new and renewal E&S Commercial Auto business.
• Develop and maintain a profitable book in the Central Region.
• Build relationships with wholesale broker partners.
• Evaluate risk exposures, pricing, terms, and coverage structures.
• Execute underwriting strategies aligned with regional growth.
• Collaborate with Claims, Actuarial, Operations, Product, and Distribution teams.
• Monitor market conditions and broker activity in the territory.
• Ensure adherence to underwriting guidelines and referral processes.
