Everest Insurance Company seeks a Senior Underwriter, Commercial Auto for its Wholesale Casualty team. This role focuses on building and managing a profitable E&S Commercial Auto portfolio across the Central Region, with flexible location and a primarily hybrid schedule.

You will underwrite new and renewal business, develop broker relationships, and collaborate with Claims, Actuarial, Operations, and Distribution to drive profitability and growth.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in commercial insurance underwriting, preferably E&S or wholesale.
• Proven ability to underwrite Commercial Auto and related exposures.
• Experience managing broker relationships and generating new business.
• Ability to manage a book of business with underwriting discipline.

Responsibilities

• Underwrite new and renewal E&S Commercial Auto business, including fleet and contractor auto.
• Develop and maintain a profitable book within the Central Region.
• Build strong relationships with wholesale broker partners.
• Evaluate risk exposures, pricing, terms, and coverage structures.
• Execute underwriting strategies aligned with regional growth objectives.
• Collaborate with Claims, Actuarial, Operations, Product, and Distribution.
