STR is seeking a Lead Program Manager for the Subsea and Seabed Systems Group to oversee a portfolio of advanced undersea sensor and ISR-related programs. The role requires managing cross-disciplinary teams across STR campuses, coordinating electrical, mechanical, software, and system integration to meet cost, schedule, and performance targets.

You will drive budgets, baselines, and resource plans, while navigating risk, security, and contracting challenges in national-security initiatives.

Qualifications

• Minimum 8+ years in government contracting, R&D, or advanced technology production.
• Experience managing programs >$10M for the Department of War (DoD).
• Active TS/SSBI clearance with ability to gain SCI/SAP accreditations (U.S. citizenship required).
• Proven budgeting, forecasting, and financial management of fast-paced, complex programs.
• Experience in design/build and field deployment of advanced undersea systems.

Responsabilités

• Manage multiple fast-paced, complex programs against cost, schedule, and technical objectives.
• Develop budgets and time-phased spending plans, staffing, and resource allocations.
• Review actual costs, burn rates, and update forecasts.
• Assess cost/schedule tradeoffs with technical leads; communicate risks to leadership.
• Lead proposals and gated capture processes.
• Create subcontractor statements of work and manage subcontractors.
• Coordinate LRIP milestones and fielded systems build and deployment.
• Lead multidisciplinary teams through design, build, integration, and field execution.
• Oversee advanced undersea system testing, readiness activities, at-sea execution, and post-test assessment.
• Provide regular program briefs to group and division leadership.
