Insight Global is seeking a Construction Engineer in Houston, TX to represent the owner's team across planning, execution, and oversight of utility infrastructure projects. The role involves supporting construction activities from design review through project completion, ensuring safety, schedule, and budget adherence.

Ideal candidates will have utilities construction and maintenance experience, project coordination, and field engineering skills.

Qualifications

Strong background in utilities.
Utility construction and maintenance experience.
Project management including planning, scheduling, and coordination.
Design review and development related to utility infrastructure.
Field engineering support and oversight.
Stakeholder communication and documentation management.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

Review designs for constructability and suitability for field implementation.
Coordinate with contractors and project stakeholders to align on scope and timelines.
Track project progress and milestones, reporting status to leadership.
Maintain and organize project documentation and records.
Resolve field issues promptly to minimize project delays.
Serve as liaison between engineering, construction, and project teams to ensure alignment.
