Job summary

TelCom Construction in Humboldt, IA is seeking a Telecommunications Supervisor Construction to lead day-to-day field operations on underground projects. You will supervise crews, organize materials, track locates, and ensure safety and reporting, with travel and on-call requirements.

Qualified candidates have 3+ years in utility construction, valid Class A CDL preferred, and a clean driving record. This role offers growth opportunities within a dynamic team.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED or equivalent work experience.
• Minimum 3 years of related construction experience.
• Authorization to work in the United States.
• Valid driver's license with clean driving record.
• Valid Class A CDL w/ tanker endorsement or willingness to obtain.
• Ability to pass a DOT physical exam.
• Telecom/utility construction experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supervise day-to-day operations on site.
• Complete assigned underground projects.
• Provide leadership to Foremen and crew members.
• Organize materials, equipment and labor.
• Verify locates, materials and billings.
• Provide required job reporting.
• Complete as-builts and redlines.
• Participate in safety and production initiatives.
• Other duties as assigned.
• Previous utility construction crew leadership required.
• Experience with telecom MSA contracts preferred.
• Proficient with database software and Excel; Google apps a plus.
• Out-of-town travel and on-call availability.
• Valid driver’s license; Class A CDL a plus.
