Job summary

Redpath is seeking a Senior Engineer to provide advanced engineering support for underground development, mass excavation, and construction projects. The role manages design and engineering processes, coordinates schedules, forecasts resources, and ensures compliance with client requirements and safety standards.

The ideal candidate has 6-10 years of mining experience, a Bachelor's degree in engineering, and the ability to lead cross-disciplinary teams while maintaining high quality and safety

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mining, Electrical, Mechanical or Civil Engineering.
• 6-10 years’ experience in a mining environment.
• Ability to pass background clearance check, drug screening and physical.

Responsibilities

• Provides advanced planning, coordination, procurement, and management of the overall design and engineering process.
• Translates conceptual designs into system requirement specifications and collaborates with all disciplines to develop detailed design requirements.
• Establishes standards, practices, and procedures for the overall system requirements.
• Focuses on discipline interfaces to integrate system elements and track implementation.
• Reviews test plans and participates in testing to validate requirements.
• Prepares weekly and monthly mine development forecasts and design schedules.
