Job summary

Worley is seeking a Senior Project Manager for an embedded client role in Lancaster, California. You will lead underground mining project delivery, coordinating studies, procurement, and field execution, while ensuring safety, quality, and cost targets are met.

Requires extensive mining PM experience, strong leadership, and client-facing capabilities. This on-site secondment emphasizes collaboration with client teams and adherence to Worley standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering or related field, or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 15 years in mining/minerals/metals with 12+ years in PM/leadership roles.
• Strong underground mining project experience and client-facing delivery.
• Experience with Front-End Studies & Advisory, Concept/Select, Consulting, PFS/FS, NI 43-101 or SK-1300 reporting.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams).
• Experience with workshare and EP project environments.

Responsibilities

• Define and manage project scope, schedule, productivity, and budget.
• Oversee studies and projects ensuring codes, standards, and customer requirements.
• Coordinate multidisciplinary teams to achieve goals efficiently.
• Champion safety and environmental stewardship across activities.
• Provide technical direction across engineering, procurement, and delivery.
• Establish and maintain project budgets, forecasts, and cost controls.
• Develop and implement the Project Execution Plan (PEP).
• Build strong client and stakeholder relationships and communications.
• Identify and mitigate risks; capture opportunities to improve outcomes.
