Job summary

Worley Group, Inc. in Mesa, Arizona seeks an experienced Project Engineer to lead mining projects, including open-pit and underground operations. You will guide technical studies, manage project execution, and ensure safety, quality, and environmental standards are met.

You will bring 10+ years in mining, 5+ years in senior roles, and a PE license in AZ or advanced degree as assets. Travel is expected as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Mechanical or Mining Engineering degree.
• 10+ years of mining experience, including process plant, open-pit and underground mining.
• 5+ years in senior or project engineer roles in mining.
• Willingness to travel.
• Licensed Professional Engineer in Arizona preferred.
• Familiarity with NI 43-101 and/or SK-1300 studies.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical leadership and project management for mining studies.
• Lead conceptual, pre-feasibility, and feasibility studies.
• Support execution with quality, safety, and environmental standards.
• Contribute to business development and client networks for new opportunities.
• Oversee procurement processes to meet specs, schedules, and budget.
• Develop cost estimates and project schedules for mining projects.
• Perform site visits and oversee open-pit and underground mining activities.
