Job summary

i-80 Gold Corp seeks a Senior Mine Engineer to lead the Archimedes Underground project near Eureka, NV. You will direct engineering work for mine design, planning, geotechnical, and ventilation systems, while coordinating internal teams and external resources.

You will also support budgeting, liaise with regulators, and engage with communities as the project progresses toward first ore and ramp-up in 2026–2027.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mine or Geological Engineering or related discipline.
• 7+ years of underground and open pit mine engineering experience.
• Experience using Deswik, Maptek-Vulcan or similar for mine designs, plans and schedules.
• Knowledge of mining and processing operations.
• Willingness to travel, primarily within Nevada.

Responsibilities

• Lead engineering for a new underground mine, coordinating internal and external resources.
• Build and manage mine design, planning and schedules.
• Develop geotechnical and ventilation systems.
• Support budgeting and forecasting with site and management.
• Collaborate with regulators and government entities to advance the project.
• Represent company with surrounding communities and stakeholders.
