Job summary

Marion County Coal Resources, Inc. in Metz, WV is seeking an LW Maintenance Supervisor to oversee maintenance of underground mining equipment and electrical systems.

You will lead a team, plan preventive maintenance, and ensure safety, uptime, and cost efficiency in a demanding mine environment. The role requires strong supervisory skills, extensive underground electrical knowledge, and the ability to coordinate across surface and underground operations.

Qualifications

• Must have at least 2 years supervisory or management experience in underground mining.
• Experience in electrical & mechanical maintenance in mine operations.
• Must meet MSHA-related certifications and safety requirements.
• Strong knowledge of safety, production, maintenance, and cost.

Responsibilities

• Maintain mine electrical system and ensure safe operation.
• Plan maintenance activities to maximize productivity.
• Direct electrical repair work and supervise maintenance staff.
• Coordinate with managers to minimize downtime.
• Ensure required reports are completed.
