Job summary

Redpath USA Corporation is seeking a Chief Electrician to lead electrical underground and surface operations at mining projects. You will direct electricians, apprentices and helpers, oversee maintenance, design inputs, and ensure safety compliance and quality standards.

The role requires a minimum 10 years in industrial/construction electrical work with at least 5 years in supervisory roles and underground mining experience. Travel and extended hours are expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering preferred.
• 10+ years in an industrial or construction electrician role with 5+ years in underground mining.
• Minimum 5 years supervisory experience.
• Valid driver's license and able to drive.
• Proficient with computers and associated software.

Responsibilities

• Direct and supervise electricians, apprentices, and helpers on underground/surface projects.
• Maintain project records, procurement, and cost tracking.
• Provide budget estimates and mobilization support for projects.
• Ensure compliance with safety policies and regulations (OSHA, MSHA, EPA).
• Review designs, proposals and provide technical guidance.
