Job summary

A leading mining contractor is seeking a Lead Electrician to oversee electrical operations. The role requires disassembly, installation, and repair of electrical systems, alongside mentorship for junior electricians. Candidates must have at least 3 years of experience in underground mining, strong leadership qualities, and the ability to work flexible hours. This position is based initially in Winnemucca, NV, with a transfer to Alaska for project commencement. A 4-year degree and NFPA70E certification are preferable.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years’ electrician experience in an underground mining environment.
• Strong leadership and organizational skills required.
• NFPA70E certification required based on site location.

Responsibilities

• Disassemble, assemble, install, test, troubleshoot, and repair electrical equipment.
