Job summary

A leading mining services firm is looking for an experienced electrician to manage installation and maintenance of electrical systems in both surface and underground operations. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of three years' experience in an underground mining environment, be skilled in troubleshooting, and possess necessary certifications. This role requires excellent communication skills and the ability to work overtime including nights and weekends as needed.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years’ electrician experience in an underground mining environment.
• Must possess a current State Driver’s License and acceptable driving record.
• NFPA70E certification required.

Responsibilities

• Disassemble, assemble, install, test, troubleshoot electrical systems.
• Ensure planned maintenance is carried out per schedule.
• Assist and carry out repairs and maintenance to underground substations.
