Job summary

E-Z Bel Construction, LLC in Austin, TX, seeks an Underground Electrical Utilities Field Supervisor to lead a crew installing traction-ready underground infrastructure for traffic signal systems. You will drive safety, quality, and productivity while mentoring the next generation of craft leaders.

Responsibilities include interpreting drawings, setting up surveys, directing trenching and conduit work, and coordinating with inspectors, engineers, and subcontractors.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in underground utilities with supervisory experience.
• Ability to read civil/electrical plans and specs.
• Valid driver's license and insurable driving record.
• Experience with safety, trenching, and traffic control standards.

Responsibilities

• Lead field crew, supervise trenching, conduit runs, and box placements.
• Enforce safety daily with briefings, hazard analyses, and PPE compliance.
• Coordinate with inspectors, engineers, vendors, and subs to resolve issues.
• Track labor and production using digital timekeeping and daily reports.
• Mentor Laborers and Leadmen on technical skills and career paths.
• Oversee material staging, deliveries, and equipment allocation.
• Perform ongoing incident reporting and safety corrective actions.
• Participate in planning and documentation audits with the Superintendent.
