Job summary

Hackensack Meridian Health is seeking a Lead Ultrasound Technologist to join our Diagnostic Imaging team. You will perform advanced ultrasound procedures, supervise staff, manage equipment, and ensure high standards of patient care in a busy radiology department.

Applicants should have an approved Ultrasound School credential, at least 3 years of modality experience, and strong communication and computer skills.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Graduate of an approved Ultrasound School.
• Minimum of 3 years experience in modality.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficient computer skills including Microsoft Office and Google Suite.

Responsibilities

• Maintains inventory and procurement of supplies.
• Provides instruction to staff and students.
• Allocates work and manages training.
• Operates and maintains ultrasound equipment safely.
• Performs portable ultrasound exams and complex diagnostic tasks.
• Assists physicians with interventional procedures as needed.
• Prepares patients and documents procedures in systems like EPIC and PACS.
