Job summary

NYU Langone Hospital—Brooklyn is a full-service teaching hospital with a Level I trauma center. We are seeking a Sr Ultrasound Technician to perform diagnostic sonographic examinations, operate ultrasound equipment, and provide training to Ultrasound Technology students.

You will participate in various modalities and ensure quality imaging while supporting departmental protocols. The role requires ARDMS-eligible certification or equivalent, and a minimum of five years of ultrasound experience.

Qualifications

• Certificate from an approved ultrasound/vascular technology education program.
• Registered as American Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (ARDMS) or eligible.
• Five years ultrasound experience.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrates knowledge of HIS/RIS systems; schedules exams and verifies orders.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
• Directs and monitors student clinical training; guides and evaluates student progress.
