Job summary

UCI Health is seeking a Diagnostic Ultrasound Technologist to perform a full range of basic and complex ultrasound procedures. The role includes patient preparation, equipment adjustment, and operation of imaging systems, with involvement in training technologist students.

Qualified candidates will have ARDMS certification, at least three years in diagnostic ultrasound, and strong English communication skills. The position schedule is 3x12 on-site at our Irvine campus in California.

Qualifications

• Must possess ARDMS certification.
• Must have three years experience in diagnostic ultrasound.
• Must demonstrate customer service skills appropriate to the job.
• Experience with Pediatric ultrasound including neonatal heads.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.

Responsibilities

• Perform a full range of basic diagnostic ultrasound procedures and more complex specialized procedures.
• Prepare and position patients; adjust equipment to best demonstrate the area of interest.
• Operate stationary and portable imaging systems and participate in training technologist students.
