Job summary

UCI Health in California seeks an Ultrasound Technologist to perform a full range of diagnostic ultrasound procedures, including pediatric imaging, NICU, and vascular studies. You will prepare patients, optimize imaging, and operate both fixed and portable equipment while assisting in student training.

Qualified candidates have ARDMS and at least three years in diagnostic ultrasound, strong English communication, and flexibility for ambulatory clinic assignments.

Qualifications

• Must possess ARDMS certification
• Three years experience in diagnostic ultrasound
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
• May be assigned to work in ambulatory clinics
• Experience with Pediatric ultrasound to include neonatal heads
• Competent with NICU, vascular surgery, breast imaging, dialysis access, arterial upper and lower extremity, carotid Doppler studies, and TIPPS.

Responsibilities

• Perform full range of basic diagnostic ultrasound procedures and complex specialized procedures.
• Prepare and position patients, adjust equipment to best demonstrate area of interest.
• Operate stationary and portable imaging systems and radiology equipment.
• Assist in the training of Technologist Students as assigned.
• Schedule: 3x12.
