Nash UNC Health Care in North Carolina seeks a skilled Ultrasound Technologist to produce diagnostic ultrasound images under radiology supervision. Per diem schedule with day shifts, 8 hours per week, and involvement in ultrasound on-call rotation.

You will hold an Associate Degree in Ultrasonography, current ARRT and ASDS credentials, and perform pelvic, abdominal, and other ultrasound examinations while ensuring patient safety and accurate documentation.

Qualificações

• Associates Degree in Ultrasonography from an accredited program.
• Current ARRT registration with up-to-date CE credits.
• Registered in two ultrasound sub-specialties or one sub-specialty.
• At least 1 year of healthcare/medical sonography experience.

Responsabilidades

• Produces ultrasound images and examinations including abdominal and pelvic scans.
• Obtains history, evaluates for contraindications, and monitors patient condition.
• Assists physicians during invasive procedures and adheres to safety guidelines.
• Operates and maintains sonographic equipment and documents in the patient record.
