Job summary

Our client, a hospital located in the Raleigh, NC area, has a need for a Perinatal Sonographer to join their team. The role includes working Monday through Thursday and no weekend shifts, with no on-call requirements.

The Sonographer will operate ultrasound equipment, perform fetal surveillance, assist with invasive procedures, and provide preliminary findings to physicians. Qualifications include a graduate in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or Radiologic Technology, 3 years of ultrasound

Qualifications

• Graduate Diagnostic Medical Sonography or Radiologic Technology required.
• 3 years clinical ultrasound preferred.
• Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer - OB/GYN required; fetal echocardiography preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operate ultrasound equipment to obtain quality images of the fetus and pelvic anatomy.
• Perform fetal surveillance and antenatal monitoring under physician supervision.
• Assist with invasive procedures as required and record images electronically.
• Provide preliminary findings to the supervising physician.
• Ensure timely, professional, efficient and safe patient care.

Our client, a hospital located in the Raleigh, NC area, has a need for a Perinatal Sonographer to join their team.

Monday - Thursday 7:30-4:45; Friday 7:30-12:30

No weekends, no on call

The Perinatal Sonographer operates ultrasound equipment to make quality images of the unborn fetus and of the female gravid and non-gravid pelvis under the direct order and supervision of a physician and in accordance with standard operating procedures. Uses sonography to conduct fetal surveillance and antenatal monitoring. Assists the supervising physician with invasive procedures as required. Records images electronically in image archive and reporting system. Provides preliminary findings to the supervising physician. Accomplishes patient care in a timely, professional, efficient, and safe manner.

QUALIFICATIONS

Graduate Diagnostic Medical Sonography Or Radiologic Technology Required

3 Years Clinical - Ultrasound Preferred

Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer - OB/GYN Required - And Fetal Echocardiography Preferred
