Job summary

Dragos is seeking a Senior Software Development Engineer - UI/UX to build and own the web application, GraphQL and gRPC APIs, and SDKs for customers and integrators. You will ship production code, handle real-time security data at scale, and translate complex outputs into readable insights for security teams.

You will collaborate with Product and Design to turn customer needs into features, enhance frontend performance, accessibility, and observability, and contribute to a remote-first,

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional experience building production web applications and APIs.
• Experience with React and TypeScript frontend.
• GraphQL with Apollo Client/Server and gRPC with Protocol Buffers.
• API design, versioning, and schema evolution; SDKs in multiple languages.
• Auth0, OAuth 2.0, and JWT flows.

Responsibilities

• Build and ship features across the React and TypeScript frontend and the GraphQL and gRPC APIs behind it.
• Design GraphQL schema and protobuf/gRPC contracts with versioning and schema evolution.
• Build and maintain client SDKs in Python, TypeScript, and Go, including codegen and release automation.
• Define contracts between your work and the backend team and translate customer needs into features.
• Improve frontend performance, accessibility, and observability; write secure, well-tested code.
