Job summary

Dragos, Inc. is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join the engineering team behind Dragos Software and Supply Chain Security.

You will own production code, build features across React/TypeScript frontend and the GraphQL/gRPC APIs, and develop SDKs in Python, TypeScript, and Go for customers and integrators. You will work with Go services on the backend, align with Product and Design, and focus on performance, security, and reliability.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of production web applications experience.
• Experience building APIs behind frontend apps.
• Experience with GraphQL and gRPC.
• Hands-on API design, versioning, and schema evolution.
• Experience building client SDKs in Python, TypeScript, and Go.

Responsibilities

• Build and ship features across the React and TypeScript frontend and the GraphQL and gRPC APIs behind it.
• Design and implement GraphQL schema and protobuf/gRPC contracts with versioning and schema evolution.
• Build and maintain client SDKs in Python, TypeScript, and Go, including codegen pipelines and release automation.
• Define contracts between your work and the backend team (Go services) and collaborate with Product and Design to turn customer needs into features.
• Improve frontend performance, accessibility, and observability, write well-tested and secure code, and perform code reviews.
