Job summary

DTCC in Jersey City, NJ seeks a Senior UI/UX Specialist to lead design for Risk portals and web applications, translating complex needs into persona-based journeys and reusable patterns.

You will partner with product owners, architects, and engineers to simplify journeys, improve usability, and ensure a consistent experience across internal and external portals with accessibility at the core.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 8 years of related experience.
• Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end UX and UI design for enterprise Risk portals and web apps from discovery to implementation support.
• Plan and conduct stakeholder interviews, user research, contextual inquiry, journey mapping, and usability testing.
• Define personas, role-based journeys, information architecture, navigation models, task flows, wireframes, and high-fidelity prototypes.
• Translate complex risk workflows, dashboards, maintenance screens, alerts, and reporting experiences into intuitive interfaces.
• Create and maintain reusable design systems, component libraries, patterns, and accessibility-aligned standards.
• Collaborate with product owners and engineers to convert business requirements into UX requirements and specs.
• Mentor team members and promote consistent user-centered design practices.
