Job summary

Nunez Community College in Baton Rouge, LA, seeks a senior UI/UX designer to support statewide design practice with the Division of Administration / Office of Technology Services. You’ll work onsite with product and engineering teams to deliver accessible, user-centered designs and contribute to the state design system and standards.

Qualifications

Two+ years of relevant experience.
Experience in IT, project management, business analysis, or administrative services is preferred.
Advanced degrees may substitute for experience per outlined rules.

Responsibilities

Create and edit wireframes and mockups following standards.
Lead user interviews and usability studies to understand needs.
Lead design and usability reviews for systems in development and production.
Lead design critiques to maintain cross-team standards.
Troubleshoot user flow issues across projects.
Conduct accessibility audits of systems.
Lead usability testing and assist with user acceptance testing.
Participate in daily standups, planning, and retrospectives to keep progress visible.
