Job summary

Division of Administration’s Office of Technology Services in Baton Rouge, LA, seeks a Sr. UI/UX Designer to partner with product and engineering teams. You will deliver accessible, user-centered designs, contribute to the State’s design system and standards, and support usability, user experience, and accessibility work.

You will guide design, review usability, and help maintain standards across statewide applications with cross-functional collaboration and documentation support.

Qualifications

• Five or more years in IT/design or related fields with emphasis on UI/UX design.
• Experience leading research, usability activities, and accessibility improvements.
• Ability to create and review wireframes and mockups per standards.
• Experience contributing to a design system and design-language guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Create and edit wireframes and mockups in line with standards.
• Lead user interviews and usability studies to understand needs.
• Lead design reviews to maintain cross-team standards.
• Conduct accessibility audits and lead usability testing.
• Prepare presentations and refine project documents to align with standards.
