gate6 is seeking a Senior UI/UX Consultant to design minimal, modern, pixel-perfect digital experiences onsite in Scottsdale, AZ. You will lead the UI/UX lifecycle from research through high-fidelity UI, partnering with product and engineering to ensure accurate implementation.

You will work with AI-powered tools for ideation, prototyping, and design exploration, applying Generative AI and LLMs to accelerate workflows and improve UX. A strong portfolio and hands-on Figma mastery are required.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of professional UI/UX design experience.
• Advanced proficiency in Figma with a portfolio of modern, minimal, pixel-perfect work.
• Hands-on experience with AI-powered tools such as ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, Figma AI.
• Strong understanding of Generative AI, LLMs, AI assistants, and AI-powered UX.
• Experience designing AI-driven features like copilots, intelligent search, dashboards, or conversational interfaces is a plus.
• Basic understanding of HTML/CSS, APIs, or frontend development is a plus.

Responsabilités

• Translate complex business/technical requirements into intuitive user experiences.
• Build and maintain scalable design systems, UI libraries, and reusable components in Figma.
• Collaborate with Product, Analysts, Developers, QA and stakeholders to ensure accurate implementation.
• Conduct user research, usability testing, and design validation as needed.
• Contribute fresh ideas while staying current with UI/UX and digital experience trends.

This Senior UI/UX Consultant role at gate6 is based onsite in Scottsdale, AZ. You will collaborate with product and engineering stakeholders to craft minimal, modern, intuitive, engaging, and pixel-perfect digital experiences, including hands-on use of AI tools to streamline the design workflow.

Key Responsibilities

• Own the full UI/UX design lifecycle, from research through user flows, wireframes, and prototypes, to high-fidelity UI creation and developer handoff.
• Design minimal, modern, clean, visually engaging, and pixel-perfect interfaces with careful attention to typography, spacing, grids, color, hierarchy, responsiveness, and usability.
• Translate complex business and technical requirements into simple, intuitive, and memorable user experiences.
• Build and maintain scalable design systems, UI libraries, and reusable components using Figma.
• Partner with Product Managers, Business Analysts, Developers, QA, and other stakeholders to support accurate implementation.
• Perform user research, competitor analysis, usability testing, and design validation when required.
• Contribute fresh, creative ideas while staying current with UI/UX, product design, and digital experience trends.

Requirements

• 7+ years of professional UI/UX design experience, with advanced proficiency in Figma and a portfolio demonstrating modern, minimal, pixel-perfect digital work.
• Hands-on experience with AI-powered tools such as ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, Figma AI, or similar tools for research, ideation, content generation, prototyping, and design exploration.
• Strong understanding of Generative AI, LLMs, AI assistants, conversational UX, and AI-powered user experiences.
• Experience designing AI-driven features such as AI assistants, copilots, intelligent search, recommendations, dashboards, or conversational interfaces is a strong advantage.
• Ability to apply AI to accelerate design workflows, explore concepts, improve UX, and solve design problems effectively.
• Strong foundation in user-centered design, responsive design, accessibility, interaction design, and design systems.
• Strong communication, collaboration, presentation, and problem-solving skills.
• Experience working in an Agile/Scrum environment and collaborating with cross-functional teams is preferred.
• Basic understanding of HTML/CSS, APIs, or front-end development is a plus.
