Job summary

Partner Engineering and Science Inc. in Torrance, CA seeks a UI/UX Product Application Designer for onsite work.

AI-enabled design tools and data-heavy UX are used to prototype, test, and iterate toward pixel-perfect, scalable solutions.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in UI/UX, product design, or a similar role.
• Strong portfolio showing user flows, wireframes, high-fidelity UI and final products.
• B2B product experience designing workflow-driven applications with clarity and efficiency.
• Experience designing for desktop and mobile, including complex integrations.
• Figma proficiency (including interactive prototyping) and comfort with AI-enabled tools.
• Experience with design systems and component libraries.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to simplify complex problems.
• Solid understanding of typography, color theory, data visualization, and responsive design.
• Experience with data-heavy UX (analytics, dashboards, charts) and QA-mindedness.
• Effective communication and cross-functional collaboration skills.

Partner Engineering and Science Inc. is hiring a UI/UX Product Application Designer for onsite work in Torrance, CA.

Responsibilities

• Convert product requirements into user flows, wireframes, clickable prototypes, and high-fidelity mockups in Figma for desktop and mobile experiences
• Drive fast iteration by adopting AI-enabled design tools, workflows, and integrations to move from concept to prototype
• Create design specifications, annotations, and acceptance criteria to support developer handoff, including front-end behaviors and high-level back-end requirements (data, integrations, system rules)
• Design for complex integrations and ensure solutions are feasible, scalable, and consistent using strong information architecture and systems thinking
• Work independently and collaborate with cross-functional teammates to develop and refine internal processes and improve workflow efficiency
• Conduct user research using interviews, surveys, and usability tests to inform design decisions
• Translate complex business needs into clear, step-by-step user experiences, including functional UI requirements such as rules, validations, calculations, and edge cases
• Build and maintain design systems and reusable components to ensure visual consistency
• Collaborate with developers to support pixel-perfect implementation and responsive design
• Iterate based on feedback from users, stakeholders, and team members
• Advocate for accessibility, design systems, and strong interaction design practices
• Analyze usage data and run testing to continuously improve the product experience, including data-heavy screens (charts, graphs, dashboards, reporting workflows)

Requirements

• 7+ years of experience in UI/UX, product design, or a similar role
• Strong portfolio demonstrating user flows, wireframes, high-fidelity UI, and final products
• B2B product experience designing workflow-driven applications where clarity, efficiency, and accuracy matter
• Experience designing for both desktop and mobile, including complex integrations and multi-step processes
• Figma proficiency (including interactive prototyping) and comfort using modern AI-enabled design tools to document, communicate, and iterate
• Experience with design systems and component libraries
• Strong problem-solving skills, with a track record of simplifying complex problems into usable, elegant experiences
• Solid understanding of design principles including typography, color theory, data visualization, and responsive design
• Experience with data-heavy UX (analytics, dashboards, charts/graphs, and calculation-driven interfaces) with attention to detail and QA-mindedness
• Effective communication and collaboration skills

Compensation

• Salary range: USD 110,000 - 140,000 per year
