Ocient is seeking a Senior Software QA Engineer to lead end-to-end testing of its browser-based UI for large data-heavy applications. You will design test plans, build automated suites, and collaborate with UI/UX and product teams to ensure functional correctness and performance across major browsers.

This role is remote from India and offers a salary range of INR 3.1M–4.0M annually, with compensation tied to experience and interview performance.

Formación

• Bachelor's or master's degree in CS/CE or equivalent.
• 4–6 years of QA engineering or frontend testing experience.
• Experience designing and executing automated UI test frameworks.
• Proficiency in TypeScript/JavaScript and React.
• Strong debugging skills across browser, network, APIs, and backend.
• Familiarity with CI pipelines and test tooling.

Responsabilidades

• Design and run comprehensive test plans and automated suites for UI features.
• Develop and maintain end-to-end UI tests across browsers and viewports.
• Investigate flaky tests using traces, videos, and logs.
• Ensure UI stability, accessibility, and performance.
• Verify UI against backend data and REST responses.
• Collaborate with product and design to align tests with requirements.
• Mentor junior engineers in UI test automation.
