Job summary

Ocient is seeking a Senior UI/UX Engineer for 100% remote work based in India. You will lead UI/UX efforts for Ocient’s hyperscale data warehouse, partnering with product architects and managers to deliver exceptional product experiences.

You will blend strong front-end engineering with design sensibility, set coding standards, review code, mentor teammates, and collaborate across Product, Engineering, and Design to elevate UI quality and performance.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of UI/UX-focused front-end experience in professional software engineering.

Responsibilities

• Lead UI/UX efforts for Ocient’s hyperscale data warehouse platform.
• Collaborate with Product Management, Engineering and Design across teams.
• Mentor junior UI/UX engineers and uphold coding guidelines and architectures.
• Implement interfaces using TypeScript, React, and Python.
• Leverage REST APIs and SQL databases for front-end integrations.
