Job summary

SherlockTalent is seeking a Senior Software Test Engineer (Java) for a 100% remote role. You will participate in all phases of the software development process, from requirements to system testing, and provide technical leadership in testing activities.

The candidate will design and execute tests, work with QA methodologies, and ensure quality of globalization products. Strong Java, Python, Selenium, and CI/CD experience are required. Compensation >$120K plus benefits.

Qualifications

• Experience with QA methodologies (Test Plans, Negative Testing, Integration, Regression).
• Experience coding in Python and Java.
• Experience implementing web testing automation with Selenium WebDriver.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related discipline.
• Experience with Object-Oriented design and design patterns.
• Experience with JDBC/ORM/Hibernate.
• Experience with JavaScript, AJAX, HTML5, CSS3 and JSON/XML.
• Experience with Junit, Postman, JavaScripting, Spring testing and mock testing frameworks.
• Experience with Databases (PostgreSQL, SQL Server, MySQL, NoSQL).
• Experience with Scrum/Kanban/Agile methodologies.
• Experience with Git/SVN.
• Experience with CI/CD tools (Maven, Jenkins, Nexus/Artifactory, Terraform, Chef).
• Familiarity with Web Servers (Tomcat, Nginx, Apache, IIS).
• Familiarity with Cloud (AWS, GCP, Azure).
• Familiarity with Docker and Kubernetes.
• Windows/Linux administration a plus.
