Job summary

CxAlloy in the United States is seeking a Senior UI/Graphic Designer to craft polished web and mobile interfaces. You will translate complex requirements into intuitive experiences, balancing visual craft with usability and design systems across products.

You will collaborate with Product and Engineering, contribute to reusable components, and advocate for accessibility and modern web patterns. A strong portfolio demonstrating UI execution and thoughtful interaction is essential.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in design related field or equivalent experience.
5+ years of professional design experience, including at least 4 years designing digital products for web or mobile.
Strong UI and visual design skills, with a high standard for polish and attention to detail.
Strong understanding of usability and interaction design, particularly when designing complex workflows.
Excellent understanding of typography, layout, spacing, hierarchy, composition, and visual consistency.
Strong independent design judgment, with the ability to assess a problem, form a recommendation, and clearly explain why an approach is appropriate.
Ability to explore multiple approaches, evaluate trade-offs, and recommend a direction without relying primarily on user or stakeholder feedback to determine the solution.
Experience designing within and contributing to design systems.
Proficiency with Sketch, Figma, or similar design tools.
Understanding of responsive design, accessibility, and modern web application patterns.
Ability to organize complex information and functionality into clear, easy-to-use interfaces.
Ability to balance usability, visual quality, technical constraints, and product requirements.
Strong communication skills and ability to clearly explain design rationale and trade-offs.
Portfolio demonstrating strong UI execution, thoughtful interaction design, and sound design judgment.

Responsibilities

Design polished interfaces for web and mobile applications.
Explore and evaluate design approaches, understand the trade-offs, and confidently recommend a clear direction.
Apply sound design judgment to make recommendations, using user feedback and stakeholder input as valuable inputs rather than the sole basis for design decisions.
Turn complex requirements and workflows into simple, intuitive experiences.
Create wireframes, high-fidelity designs, prototypes, and production-ready UI specifications.
Design complete interaction patterns including edge cases and multiple states.
Refine designs based on feedback, technical constraints, and evolving requirements.
Contribute to and maintain reusable components, patterns, and design systems.
Identify opportunities to improve the clarity, usability, consistency, and visual quality of existing interfaces.
Communicate design decisions and collaborate closely with Product and Engineering.
