Job summary

Cricut is seeking an experienced UX visual design leader who will craft intuitive software experiences across desktop and mobile. The role combines hands-on design with directing a small team of designers to maintain brand integrity and breakthrough visual quality.

You will collaborate with UX researchers, engineers, and QA, contributing to a scalable design system and ensuring high visual standards. A strong portfolio and agile experience are essential.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of UI/Product design experience on consumer-facing software across multiple platforms (Mac/Windows/iOS/Android).
• Proven ability to partner with UX researchers, software developers and QA to ensure user needs are met.
• Excellent written and spoken communication with clear rationale for design choices.
• Egoless, collaborative mindset with mentoring experience.

Responsibilities

• Create visual designs that support compelling user experiences on desktop and mobile and align with the Cricut brand.
• Deliver work translating complex ideas into simple, useful designs.
• Collaborate with UX researchers, interaction designers, developers and QA to communicate interactivity effectively.
• Help develop a visual design system to speed up work with consistency.
• Participate in every stage of the user-centered design process from concept to pixel-perfect implementation.
