Job summary

Humana seeks an experienced UX designer to lead end-to-end design for clinical workflows, data-dense interfaces, and AI-assisted tools. You will create high-fidelity prototypes, contribute to scalable design systems, and validate user flows through qualitative studies.

Must have 5+ years of product design experience, a strong Figma skillset, and a degree in HCI/Design or equivalent. Excellent communication with cross-functional teams is essential.

Qualifications

• 5+ years hands-on product design experience delivering digital products, web apps, or complex enterprise platforms.
• Bachelor's degree in Human–Computer Interaction, Design, or related field (or equivalent practical experience).
• Expert-level Figma skills, including auto-layout, tokens, component variables, and interactive prototyping.
• Ability to balance strategic thinking with hands-on execution within a design system and standards.
• Outstanding communication to articulate decisions with engineers and stakeholders.
• Demonstrated AI fluency and interest in AI-assisted design tools.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end design for assigned product verticals including workflow design, information architecture, and interface design for data-dense clinical workflows.
• Support and contribute to design systems, reusable patterns, and scalable design standards.
• Share design rationale with stakeholders and build alignment across product, engineering, and clinical partners.
• Create interactive, high-fidelity prototypes to model complex interactions and validate user flows.
• Plan and run qualitative user research, usability testing, and feedback sessions.
