Tyonek Native Corporation in Virginia is seeking a seasoned UH-60 aircraft mechanic to perform heavy maintenance, troubleshooting and repair of aircraft structures and powerplant components. The role requires comprehensive knowledge of mechanical systems, ability to interpret blueprints and manuals, and strong tool control practices.

Candidates should have 5+ years UH-60 A/L experience, FAA A&P certificate preferred, and be a U.S. citizen.

Qualifications

• 5+ years UH-60 A/L experience required.
• High school diploma or equivalent is required.

Responsabilités

• Maintains, repairs and modifies aircraft structures, structural components, and engines of complex to extreme difficulty.
• Maintains and repairs aircraft components including flight controls, engines, hydraulics, pneumatics, fuel systems and mechanical components.
• Uses technical knowledge of airframe and power plant systems to determine malfunctions and restore equipment condition.
• Interprets technical data such as blueprints or manuals to solve complex problems.
• Provides guidance to lower level technicians throughout modifications and maintenance.
• Makes entries in aircraft logs and records.
