Job summary

Tyonek Native Corporation seeks an experienced UH-60 aircraft maintenance technician to perform maintenance, repair and modification on complex aircraft systems. The role requires thorough knowledge of mechanical components and electrical systems and the ability to interpret blueprints and manuals.

Candidates should have a high school diploma, 3 years UH-60 experience, U.S. citizenship and the ability to obtain a Secret Clearance.

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent.
FAA A&P certificate is a plus.
3 years UH-60 experience required.
Must be a U.S. Citizen.
Must have or be able to obtain Secret Clearance.
Proficiency in MS Office suite.
Familiar with AR 95-20, DA PAM 738-751, AR 700-138 and related manuals.
Must own tools and meet minimum tool list requirements.

Responsibilities

Maintain, repair and modify aircraft structures, components and engines of complex to extreme difficulty.
Maintain and repair aircraft components including flight controls, engines, hydraulics, pneumatics, fuel systems and mechanical components.
Use technical knowledge of airframe and power plant systems to diagnose malfunctions and restore operation.
Interpret blueprints or manuals to solve problems.
Utilize aircraft tools and test equipment.
Provide technical support to engineers and customers.
Prioritize workload to meet aircraft delivery schedules.
Guide and mentor lower-level technicians in maintenance efforts.
Make entries in aircraft logs and records.
Other duties as assigned.
