Job summary

DZYNE Technologies LLC. in Irvine, California seeks a Senior Systems Engineer for UAV Open Architecture to guide multidisciplinary teams from concept through flight test.

You will lead requirements, interfaces, and validation activities for Long Endurance ISR platforms, collaborating with mechanical, electrical, software, and test groups. The role emphasizes systems engineering fundamentals, MOSA-aware design, and experience with GRAs; a strong background in aerospace and defense programs is

Qualifications

• Participate in development of requirements and systems architecture per standards (government open/common architecture)
• Translate mission needs into system requirements
• Define and manage system requirements and interfaces from concept through flight test
• Lead planning and coordination of system validation activities
• Environmental testing to ensure real-world readiness
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary engineering/integration/test teams
• Lead failure modes, reliability analysis and risk management across the lifecycle
• Contribute to system reviews and documentation for safety, performance and reliability

Responsibilities

• Develop requirements and architectures per MOSA and government standards
• Translate mission needs into clear system requirements
• Define interfaces from concept to flight test
• Lead system validation planning and execution
• Perform environmental testing for real-world readiness
• Coordinate with multiple engineering teams
• Lead reliability analysis and risk management efforts
• Document system reviews for safety and performance
